It's a sunny day in Casualty-ville, and Dan, a paramedic, is getting ready to go to a football match, along with his newest recruit, Lucy Bandage. Dan and his team are there to provide medical support to anyone who needs it. At the match, the Casualty-ville Rovers are introducing a new player, Derek Daniels, who has the ability to make goals out of thin air. Then, in the first few minutes of the match, Derek has a bad fall. Dan rushes to the rescue and finds that Derek has broken his leg. How will the match play out now, and what can Dan the ambulance man do to help? In this children's story, the third in a series, a paramedic and his new recruit attend a football match to provide medical cover and soon find themselves involved in sporting drama.
