Publisher's Synopsis
In 1984, Andrew Holligan moved from New York where he worked as a fashion and lived a 24-hour life, to Dalston, East London where there wasn't even a tube line and he had little work. Dalston in the 1980s is the personal story of how he adjusted to life back in London and began a career as a street photographer at a time when Dalston was an entirely different place to how it is now.
