Law professor Natalie Greco has an ordered life. She feels a passion for teaching, she loves her family and feels most connected to her colleague, Faculty Hunk, Angus Holt. But it's when he persuades her to teach class at the local prison that her world turns upside down. A violent prison riot breaks out during the class and in the chaos Nat rushes to help a prison guard who is fatally injured. His last words are, 'Tell my wife. It's under the floor.' Once the riot is quelled, Nat resolves to find the guard's widow. But this is no simple quest, and along the way, Nat is framed for murder and finds herself in a desperate fight to save her own life.
