Vos citations si bien encha�n�es, m'ont ramen� au temps o� yhabitais la rue Lepic, au n� 69, et vers 1864, je crois (car la m�moire du chiffre exact n'est pas toujours bonne chez moi). G'�rait une suite de petits pavillons ayant chacun son jar din (um seul en fa�ade sur la rue, avec l'inscrip tion Au hameau de Montmartre). La pmpnetaire du hameau �tait une ancienne bouqueuere de l'op�ra, femme r�gl�e. A neuf heures, on son nait la cloche pour que chacun v�nt faire sa provision d'eau. J'avais, dans mon jardin, deux acacias en sentinelles devant un perron de trois marches � marquise, un w.-cl. En brique, chastement v�tu de lierre, et un cep de vigne qui me donna trois raisins. J'arrosais mes grappes avec un petit arrosoir � main; ce qui me valut trois monstres gros et tendres, mais d�pourvus de suc. Le mur du cep longeait une ruelle o� on criait, de temps en temps, au valeur ou � l'assassin entre une heure et deux heures du matin. De l'autre c�t�, j'avais pour voisin l'�conomiste Garnier, qui a laiss� un nom.
