I am here to tell you, first off, great choice! They are wonderful dogs. But I also want to let you in on their idiosyncrasies, their needs, how to care for them and how to tell if they truly are right for you.

I am the proud and blessed owner of a Mountain Cur myself. Before I got my Cur-baby, I never had even heard of a Cur. Now that I have him, after muddling through what to do and what not to do, I realized, wow, someone else could truly benefit from my ignorance and mistakes I made in the beginning.
I wish I was able to pick up a quick handbook on the Mountain Cur breed, so that I could make an informed decision for me and my family AND the Cur-baby.
