Publisher's Synopsis
Roneshia aka RiRi is a sixteen-year-old high school student who's had her share of troubles just being a teenager. Her and her mother are desperately trying to make ends meet with her being an only child. Her father is a functioning alcoholic who doesn't hesitate to violently show how he feels. When school is out for the summer, RiRi wants to just work and focus on trying to get her and her mother out of the situation they're in. She doesn't care about the upcoming parties or the latest fashions; she just wants them to be free. Jay is new in town. He's an upcoming boss in the streets and his name rings bells everywhere he goes. The only problem with him is his friends with benefits, Tisha, who believes that they have more than just a sexual relationship. He meets RiRi and instantly falls for her and vows to make her his. With street beefs looming and Tisha in the background wanting to fight for what she believes is hers, Jay will have to make sure he lives through the summer to be able to claim his newfound love interest.
