Jesus knows the moment has arrived. The moment when he must take the sins of the whole world onto himself as though he had committed them all personally. It helps deaden pain." It burns his cracked lips and he turns his head. No. Take it away, Jesus whispers. "He's crazy! He'll go insane from the cramps if he doesn't take this pain killer."
