The former is a collection of over 100,000 words listed by word length under 100s of thematic categories - people, places, birds, animals, names of drinks, gemstones, palindromes, homophones, foreign words and phrases and so on. It also contains hints on solving cryptic clues and a selection of the conventions used by setters of crosswords.;The later contains over 100,000 words organized alphabetically by the number of letters they contain. This allows the solver to fill in the blanks in the crossword grid.
