Butter markets were very firm early in the week Novem ber 24-29, but were showing a weaker tendency at the close. Prices netted gains of about 4[ during the week. Markets irregular at the close and out of line with each other indicating later price readjustments. Very active movement of storage butter on account of scarcity of fresh. Production reports indicate slight increase. Foreign markets were firm. There were no exports. A small quantity of butter which was previously shipped to England was returned.
