Jerry and Paul work a murder that threatens Judy's shaky family bond. Never a dull moment when Hadley and Fredricks work a murder at a software development firm. Handyman Matt has an afterhours punch list for the firm's building and brings Judy for company. He's busy when she witnesses a murder and sees Sharon's sister-in law flee the scene. Sharon is Judy's newly reunited daughter. Should Judy risk the shaky bond with her new family by telling Jerry and Paul, since they have already saved her life once? Colleen, the sister-in-law, eventually gets it was Judy who saw her in the hallway. Family or not, she has to be silenced. Colleen and her hired thugs set out to kill Judy before she gets to the police. They hole up with a sniper rifle in a nearby house while Judy and the rest of the family watch a school track meet. When the detectives grasp that she was Jerry's hot date the night after the murder, they are on Colleen's tail. The chase is on, climaxing in a feather-flying, chicken-poop-spewing shootout at a chicken coop.
