25-year old DAVID FREEMAN, a successful regional sales rep, has climbed the ladder of success, using well intentioned principles, only to find that his life has become routine and boring. Enter auburn-haired JOANI GIVENS, stuck in a dead-end waitress job at a sleazy bar and rooming with SNAKE, a manipulative drug dealer who uses everything and everyone for his own benefit.
