Publisher's Synopsis
Summary 'Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?' So starts a series of weekly topic-discussion meetings over a period of five months between 22-year-old sexually-experienced social-sciences student, Abigail Scott, and 58-year-old divorce and beekeeper Gerry Hawkins. Abi is looking for someone to bounce opinions off whereas Gerry is happy to have someone to converse with while drinking coffee in the High Street coffee house. Gradually, their discussions lead to friendship and Gerry begins to wonder if maybe the friendship will develop even further. The honey bees, unwittingly, have a hand in helping the relationship mature. Foreword This is a lite version of a more complex novel by the same author called Conversations. The original novel contains explicit descriptions of what took place between Abi and Gerry when, finally, their relationship matured to a level of sexual intimacy. Conversations also contains a series of shadow flashback chapters describing how Abi and Gerry learnt about love and sex as they individually progressed from puberty to adulthood. These chapters are also explicit. In the lite version of the novel, Conversations Lite, the shadow chapters have been removed and all but two of the explicit sex scenes between Abi and Gerry have been removed. The main chapters recounting the conversations and the development of their relationship remain intact however."
