A highly interactive CD-Rom which can be used as stand alone support for literacy or as part of the series of Little Monsters CD-ROMs. The activities on the CD all cover reading, spelling and understanding. Using the Little Monsters characters to create a learning adventure, this CD-ROM has six activities which cover: Rhyming words Alphabetical order Hearing initial and final phonemes in consonant-vowel-consonant words Checking sense of write text to make sense Reading and spelling words with initial and final consonant clusters Recognising full stops and capital letters The CD-ROM includes parent/teacher support which provides progress assessment and classroom management, plus a print out facility for all activities completed. The CD-ROM also comes as part of a literacy pack with paper educational support materials.
