Publisher's Synopsis
The dragon lord, Kyg, now the Royal King of Byndra is finding his place as the head of the royal court. His Consort Samin is coming to terms with his pregnancy under the care of his husband and his faithful staff. The Spring Equinox, an annual royal celebration, is only a few weeks away and Sam takes charge to show the Byndraian that he can become a loyal Consort to rule alongside Kyg. Kyg is caught up in his royal duties, while Xeg is in charge of securing the palace and grounds. With Queen Cezzot on the run along with the dragon/vampire hybrid, Solomon, no one is taking any chances with the King and his pregnant Consort's lives. The other culprits involved in Queen Cezzot's revolt are also missing after their defeat in the last battle. Hidden on a distance planet, Cezzot is plotting to recapture the throne which she believes is rightfully hers. Working with Solomon, Cezzot plants an undercover accomplice into the dragon's royal palace. The accomplice sets his plan in motion which puts Sam in danger. Sam is kidnapped, forcing Kyg to re-evaluate his priorities. Xeg finds himself under attack by mysterious forces. Will Sam and Xeg be rescued? What will happen to Sam's baby?
