Publisher's Synopsis
The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan is one of the largest and most prestigious scholarships schemes for international study in the world. Established in 1959, it is an international programme under which member governments offer scholarships and fellowships to citizens of other Commonwealth countries. The eighth report reviews the progress and development of the scheme during the period 1 April 1968 to 31 March 1969 in all participating countries. It has been compiled from information provided by the various Commonwealth Scholarship agencies, and consists of statements commenting on the working of the plan in their respective countries and of appendices giving details and statistics relating to certain aspects of the plan.
