This book contains 20 autobiographical stories told be average Americans that fought in North Africa and Europe, during World War II. Their stories contain previously unpublished information about the military in which they served and battles in which they fought. These include the stories of an Army infantryman and an Army Air Force B-24 crew member, in which they tell about their capture and treatment as POWs.
