Publisher's Synopsis

"Carter loved culling suppositions from dry data, almost as much as turning international traffickers against their associates, or 'trading eights' with studio musicians. He was a split-personality."

A noir novel, a breath-taking thriller, a compelling detective story. The reader will be completely captivated by this novel which can be read in one sitting.

The story takes place in a New York that is as dark as the shady inhabitants who lurk in the winding alleys.

Will Carter be able to figure out the right way without getting into trouble?

The answer can only be found at the end of the book.
