Publisher's Synopsis
Providing a balanced approach to the teaching of reading skills and strategies, this series consists of a range of materials in each of eight stages, numbered 0 to 7, and provides coverage of the National Curriculum and Scottish 5-14 Guidelines. This audio-cassette contains selected stories, poems and plays for Stage 0, read in a range of accents with a view to bringing the characters to life. The text is read twice - first with full intonation and sound effects, and then more slowly to allow children to read aloud at the same time.
