The Coalition of Photographic Arts (CoPA) has a mission "to develop appreciation, promote growth and support the creation of photographic arts in the Greater Milwaukee Region."
CoPA's 5th Annual Midwest Juried Photo Exhibition was on display at Walker's Point Center for the Arts from December 2, 2011-January 21, 2012. Exhibition juror, Catherine Edelman, owner of Catherine Edelman Gallery in Chicago, selected 43 images for the show. Featuring artists from Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota, the photographs show a range of emotions, suggest a narrative, and often contain an element of mystery.
