Throughout the wandering wild world, a sure legend lip the tellers of rhyme, that if you ever spot the elusively tiny Cloudbird within the skies, death might forgive you one time. Just stories, of course, that of the dinner table, enveloped by myth, song, love, and children's fable. Yet now - feverishly, they grow ever wilder, voicing tales of burning blue mortal warriors, progeny of strife, who'd jump out from within clouds, to give the peril ridden, a second life.
In this young medieval world, people cling to their weapons and tools, guarding them quite closely and using them with passion. They hope that these inanimate objects will come alive someday and serve them back in a special way. Bonding with humans, these lifeless common objects give them unique powers. Known as Extensions, the powers these objects grant help the users hunt, farm or trade in quite a spectacular manner. While some would abuse their Extensions in most vicious ways, there would always be those who'd rise to defend the weak with their own. Brothers Brandon and Andle, armed with such extensions, depart from their little hometown in search for the great city of Marland
