Get ready for Book Nine: Home! Fresh from adventure and fed up with the Rooks' company, Twist and his friends break off into the world together, self-sufficient and unfettered. Freedom, however, comes with its own risks and now an old enemy is close on their heals. After learning some quite startling information about his own past, Twist now finds himself struggling to accept the knowledge that evil fairies not only exist, but that they are after his personal ruin. So far, Twist's and Jonas's magical charms have been able to hide them from their enemies, but now the fairies are magically listening to everything said on Earth, waiting for anyone to accidentally reveal Twist or Jonas to them.
