Excerpt from Clinical Therapeutics, Vol. 1
During the last four or five years, I have been repeatedly requested by the students of Hahn amann Medical College to publish my lectures in book form, in order that they, as well as their preceptors, might be able to make frequent reference to them. Hence the present publica tion. The lectures delivered before the class have been re-written and revised, leaving out much that would be of no practical value to the practicing physician. The clinical cases, selected from the various medical journals and Raue's Record, and furnished by members of the profession, have not been chosen on account of the cure being made with a high or low potency, but solely for the purpose of illus trating the curative power of the remedy under consideration.
