Publisher's Synopsis
This text, written by the staff of the Neurology Unit at the University of Cape Town, aims to provide undergraduates and clinicians, who are not specialists in neurology, with a core knowledge in clinical neurology. It covers many of the diseases of the nervous system and guides the student through history taking, clinical manifestations investigations and treatment - the emphasis throughout being on the development of an informed and reasoned approach to diagnosis and management of neurological problems.
