Yet another comic strip about climate, you might think! But everyone (or almost everyone) knows that it's getting worryingly hot. Everyone (or almost everyone) knows that the warming rate is speeding up! Everyone (or almost everyone) knows what needs to be done (or stop doing) to curb down this trend by 2050, or even by the end of the century! So, what's the point? Is there anything new under the sun?
Well, yes, there is something new under the sun, and that's the case to say it! Have you ever stretched a rubber band tighter and tighter without it snapping between your fingers? Though, the laws of elasticity state that if you pull twice as hard, it will stretch twice as much. If you pull 3 times as hard, it will stretch 3 times as much, and so on...
... Oh no, sorry, this time ... it broke off! Who could have predicted that? And just imagine it happening to climate as well! How could we know? To figure out what's going on, we must completely change our point of view.
