This work examines the implications of possible future climate change and the greenhouse effect for water planning and resource management, citing the interrelationships of climate change, water availability and water needs. Drawing upon specialists from a variety of fields, the material has been developed from reports of a multidisciplinary panel of experts which convened from 1986 through 1988 under the auspices of the;AAAS Committee on Climate.
