Publisher's Synopsis
The RIBA Client Adviser Professional Services Contract is suitable for commissions procured on any form of procurement for commercial projects of any value. It is not suitable for the appointment of a Client Adviser on non commercial work undertaken for a 'consumer' client, such as work done to the client's home, including renovations, extensions, maintenance and new buildings. The RIBA Client Adviser Professional Services Contract is devised as an agreement between a Client Adviser and a business client or public authority and is a 'construction contract' to which the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (HGCRA, also known as the Construction Act) applies. Business clients include charities, religious organisations and not-for-profit bodies.
