Publisher's Synopsis
The Floodgate has passed, the world knows immortals exist, and one of them is the Magician David Zane. Mythical creatures have spread throughout the world, some seeking normalcy and others hiding. Upon returning home to Oro County, California, Zane's short return gets interrupted. A string of murders in Oro County have the police asking for his assistance. As a link between the magical and moral worlds, Zane gets pulled into the center of a growing mystery.
When an unseen enemy appears, a game of cat and mouse follows. Zane, who only desired to return to a normal life, finds himself as the only thing between the enemy and the potential victims of Oro County.
