The Church of the Good Shepherd on Shoreham Beach in West Sussex was built in 1913 for the princely sum of 410. This is the story of its first 100 years in which it faced demolition on a number of occasions, not least during the Second World War when the whole of Shoreham Beach was evacuated and mined to deter invasion. Building on a book written by Reverend Colin Blagg for the church's 75th Anniversary, the authors of the revised edition continue the story up to 2013, when the church family celebrated the building's centenary with a year of joyful festivities.
