Christmas Without a Tree is a modern-day A Christmas Carol that begins with 7 year-old Wendell accusing three sets of townspeople on Christmas Eve of stealing Pinesbury's only truckload of Christmas trees. Without a tree, Wendell believes Santa Claus will pass over his house and he won't get the present he really wants this year: a blue bike. The charming townspeople try to convince Wendell that he doesn't need a tree to enjoy Christmas, but he doesn't believe them. He goes home tired and disappointed. The ending with both amaze you and warm your heart this holiday season. Jim Warwick is beginning his writing career with this first book, Christmas Without a Tree. It is the first installment of five children's books in the "Without" series. Each of the young main characters learn valuable life-lessons that center around different holidays.
