Christmas With Christ 2nd edition, is an organized account of the birth of Christ. As a pastor I always found it a little confusing to read the story in a chronological order. Some parts of his birth are in the book of Matthew and others are found in the book of Luke. Therefore, I set out to put the account of the birth of Christ in a straight forward manner. It's a Christmas tradition for many families to read about the birth of Christ on Christmas Day. I believe this book will help continue that tradition. I also explain how Jesus wasn't born on December 25. Today the world seems like a dark and scary place. But just as the birth of Jesus brought light into the darkness 2000 years, celebrating his birth will shine a light in the darkness today. The reason for the second edition was so that I could add 30 days of bible verses from the books of Proverbs and the Psalms, with commentary and prayers. These passages I choose are based on forgiveness. Christmas With Christ is the greatest gift we will ever receive and forgiveness is the greatest gift we will ever give ourselves. These bible lessons and prayers were taken from a book I wrote called, "Forgiveness, The Greatest Gift You'll Ever Give Yourself."I can't think of a better way to spend Christmas than with Christ and then enter the New Year with 30 days focused on forgiveness. My hope and prayer is that by reading this book you will experience, a new hope, a new love, a new joy, and a new peace on earth, that will carry you into a New Year.
