Es war in den Tagen des tiefen Schattens, dafs ein Engel Gottes mit leuchtenden Fl�geln und in wallendem, wei�em Gewande in eine Stadt auf der anderen Seite der Welt geschickt wurde, die die Stadt der grol'scn Sehnsucht genannt war. In dieser Stadt wohnte ein junges Paar in Liebe und bewul'ster G�te und harrte eines Kindes, das die Freude ihrer Tage sein sollte. Und der Engel trat ein bei ihnen und sagte: "seid gegr�l'st, die ihr in Liebe und Klugheit lebt, euch wird grol'ses Heil zu Teil werden. Ein heller Glanz erf�llte das Zimmer und es war, als ob die Stimme des Engels aus einer roten Abendwolke zu ihnen spr�che. Und der Engel sprach weiter: "seid g�egr�fst und frenet euch, denn der Herr hat euch ausersehen vor euren Br�dern und Schwestern, weil ihr in ruhiger Liebe und G�te wandelt auf Erden und weil ihr vollendet, was er bisher den Menschen aufgetragen. Euch aber wird eine Tochter geboren werden, die ihr Christa nennen werdet, und die der Welt das neue Heil bringen soll, um dessentwillen sie viel Gl�ck, aber auch viel Leid erleben wird. Euer Haus aber wird gesegnet sein f�r und f�r; von ihm wird alles Heil ausstrahlen f�r beide Seiten der Welt. Denn, dafs ihr in Treue und G�te eure Wege gewandelt, war eurem Geiste ein Wohlgefallen, eure Tochter aber die ich euch verheifse, soll euren Herzen und euren Augen em Wohlgefallen sein und Wohlgefallen bringen den Menschen. Schm�cket das Haus mit Blumen, wenn sie geboren wird, und lasset bunte Flaggen von dem T�rmchen herab?attern, dafs die Menschen ringsum froh auf euer Haus schauen, und verk�ndet mit Liedern, dafs ihnen das Heil ge boren wurde!
