Strawberries Press (just refer to us as Strawberries) is a new publishing company with refreshingly different ideas about writing, illustrating, and developing children's picture books. We refer to the presentations and elements that go into the production of our picture books as the interactive reading and learning concept. Strawberries books are beautifully illustrated and designed to be high-quality publications that children will love and treasure. For example, our interactive picture book for train enthusiasts entitled Choo-Choo Charlie Presents Steam Locomotives provides a fun story by Charlie the Locomotive while teaching kids about steam engines and how they work, the definition of a train, the history of steam locomotives, and how to determine a locomotive's wheel configuration number. Children even get to watch a singing cartoon video of Choo-Choo Charlie the Engineer and how he uses candy to make his train run. A fun test is included at the end of the book. Just send Strawberries the completed test and your child will receive a beautifully printed Reading Certificate that he or she can proudly frame and display for all his or her friends to see. Reading traditional picture books, watching videos, visiting websites that contain associated subjects, taking fun tests, and earning Reading Certificates represent the interactive parts of the Strawberries reading and learning concept. Strawberries picture books are specifically written for preadolescents between the ages of approximately 8 and 12. Younger readers with advanced reading skills and older readers who enjoy simpler subject presentations will also benefit from Strawberries books.
