She received her Administration and Supervision License at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She worked as a teacher, math facilitator and administrator for Indianapolis Public Schools. During her forty plus years working for IPS, she received the ABCD Award twice and was Teacher of the Year at Shortridge Middle School. She is a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for almost forty years. She is a member of Central Casting (Burbank, California). Her Acting and Modeling Career began with her membership with Actors, Models, and Talents for Christ.Jo Anne loves to help others, especially the elderly and needy. She has traveled to several states in the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska. She has toured on three cruises. Her volunteer work includes: Pilgrim Baptist Church Annual Community Fair, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Math-A-Thon, NFL Super Bowl XVI Indianapolis Lucas Oil Stadium and IPS Mathematics Academic Bowl
