Publisher's Synopsis
"Well, the only way is forwards, I guess." As Roxie, Rodgerico, Ellie and Ewan enjoy a romp in the snow, their mother, Wendy, sits brooding on the past. A past which, we come to learn, contains trauma for the whole family. Nevertheless, as the children build snowmen and pelt each other with snowballs, little do they know that a past, which they had all thought lay behind them, is about to thrust itself into the present. When the children suddenly find themselves trapped and under attack, they discover that the only people they can truly rely upon are themselves. When the world around them literally falls apart, they learn a universal truth - although the outcomes can never be known until they happen, the only choice which ever exists in the present is to go forwards.
