Publisher's Synopsis

In one of the farthest places in the world, a very wise lizard once lived. He was deeply respected for his wisdom, and peoples all over the world traveled to his place to get advice or simply his blessing.Others offered to worship him, but he refused. However, the King of that country was angry for the kind of respect given to the lizard, believing that he alone deserved such an esteemable treatment. So he decided to kill the lizard in a cunning way, such that no one would suspect him for doing so. After secretly consulting his Council of Chiefs, only three men were believed could approach the lizard and kill him. One of them was wise, one was wiser and the other one was wisest; yet the lizard was never killed. The King himself lost his life and position to the lizard. This is a children's book that entertains as well as teaches various lessons such as belief in what has been destined, and why we should not feel disappointed at someone's success or fortune. The book also introduces young readers to simple literary concepts at various levels of reading.
