Publisher's Synopsis
The publication of the fourth edition of "Chemical Engineering Volume 3" marks the complete re-orientation of the material contained in the middle three volumes of the series. This is in recognition of the increasingly specialist nature of a greater number of fields within the subject discipline.;The emergence of process control, biochemical engineering and reactor engineering are treated as distinct areas within chemical engineering teaching and training. This volume is now devoted to process control, instrumentation and measurement. Volumes Four and Five, which were previously solutions manuals relating to the other books in the series are now separate and dedicated treatments of chemical reaction engineering and biochemical engineering respectively. These texts are designed for students, graduate and postgraduate, of chemical engineering.
