Throughout history, humanity waged a war against supernatural beings until The Great Battle, when the Evil Vampire Enkur rose to fight. Werewolves, who still possessed a spark of humanity, sided with humans, but they were few in number. When the humans lost, they hid underground with the help of a legendary scientist, Dr. Sandor, who created special UV lights for their protection.
On Mila's seventeenth birthday, her long-believed dead biological father, Gannadius, the great werewolf elder, tells her that she is part of a prophecy to save humanity and defeat the vampires.
From that moment forward, Mila sets out on a journey and plunges into a new world, where the dead are not really dead, traitors can be loyal allies, and the biggest danger lies within, a world far more dangerous and confusing than the only one she has ever known.
