That was such a time for Miss Ebbie Catherine Sullivan who had her share of adventures with her little hound dog Blue. Her mother, Miss Charity was a mail order bride and her Papa, Newt was a shoemaker from up north. Ebbie Catherine sees things somewhat differently than most people, indignant about the wrongs and social injustices of her era and determined to change the world one day. She writes letters to the world from either her front porch swing or her feather bed, her words a catalyst for change during an uncertain time.
