On the run from her former order, Sanu'te' drops off the map as she seeks to escape the world she knew. Meanwhile, on the mainland, the death of the Grandmaster of Khoranthus has created a power vacuum that many seek to fill. Throughout the continent events begin to unfold as the prophecy that was foretold, the coming of the child that would unsettle the world, begins to take effect in several different ways. Hidden threats begin to emerge as secrets are revealed and ancient hatred begin to fester once again as the continent of Mydest begins to rumble with the promise of war.
