Chanda is a young girl in India who finds herself reduced to a mere servant by her stepmother after her mother's death and her father's remarriage. Sitting by the river, Chanda gazes into the mirror that was a gift from her mother, knowing little of the prince who also takes his solitary walks on the bank.
