Publisher's Synopsis
It's been over 200 years since Cinderella found her prince, but that story is history. Now all teenage girls are required to attend the annual ball, during which the men in the kingdom choose their brides. Those who are not picked disappear without a trace. Sixteen-year-old Sophia would rather marry her best friend Erin than parade before the male suitors. When she arrives at the ball, she makes the decision to run away and hide in the princess's mausoleum. There she meets Constance, a descendent of one of Cinderella's stepsisters.
