We will meet Martin Luther, St. Boniface, St. Nicholas, and Princess Elizabeth of Hungary. We will read 20 Original Grimm's Fairy Tales and 20 Bible passages about Christmas. We will create an Advent calendar, make Ornaments, create a Christmas tree forest, create a Village, decorate a Gingerbread house, bake Cookies, make a German Christmas Traditions booklet, create a Christmas pyramid, make Nativity gift tags, and research bears. You will love this Christ-centered Christmas adventure to learn about the culture, customs, and festive traditions of Germany! This unit study, made with love, is jam-packed with mouth-watering, festive recipes to make and bake for Christmas. The idea of doing unit studies for the month of December was a way to stretch out the celebration of Christmas because I just love Christmas and making memories with my little lambs. But, I also love to learn and this unit study is full of fun things to learn.
