This is the second book of Cecil. If you have read the first book ´The Adventures of Cecil the Scovery´ you will know that these are books for children and soppy grown-ups. In this story Cecil goes to South America on a rescue mission. He meets a load of new characters and makes many friends. There is a cat whose name is Cat and the guys from the special services who are all smart army Landrovers. The leader of the kidnap gang is Pedro Gonzales a psychotic and incompetent, Bishimatsu with one head-lamp and a leaking radiator. We then meet a moaning Clonkmobile and an ancient London taxi with hearing problems and many more characters including a greedy vulture, an ex-warthog and a henpecked python. Altogether a super read.
