Catharsis

The DEA is about to raid a drug dealers house in Queens, New York, but the raid must be timed with a series of raids being conducted simultaneously around the Western world and the former USSR. The DEA team leader, Tim Malloy, believes his kidnapped fiance and the world's most dangerous drug dealer are inside. He thinks back to where it all began, ten years ago as he waits for the clock to tick down. He reminisces about when as a young man he and his repo partner, Pablo, repossessed cars for a living Their troubles begin when they repossess a car belonging to a drug runner that contains over 100 kilos of cocaine. Pablo sells the drugs to a contact he has, but then Pablo is brutally murdered by the drug lord whose drugs were stolen. Tim flees the country with his girlfriend but the drug dealer is close on his heels. He survives several assassination attempts by the drug lord who murdered his partner. He joins forces with the DEA, then returns home to force a confrontation with the drug dealer who is trying to kill him. In a shoot-out in Venice, California, Tim kills the drug dealer but only wounds his second in command, Jose Huerrea. He goes back to college and when he graduates, he joins the DEA. He is assigned to Russia where he believes his old nemesis, Jose Huerrea, is planning to import drugs to the former USSR. He teams with a Russian policeman to stop the drug importation and destroy the drug organization involved. Things get complicated when Tim meets and falls in love with his Russian partner's niece. She joins the team, but is kidnapped in New York while trying to trap Huerrea.
