Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from Catalogue of Books in English in the Library of the Society Relating to New Mexico and the Southwest: January, 1910

Among the books of special rarity to be found in the present Catalogue are the Riggs Edition of 1851 of the Narrative of Cabeza de Vaca, The Spanish Conquest of New Mexico by Wm. W. H. Davis, and Prose Sketches and Poems, the earliest work of Albert Pike, much of which was written in New Mexico in 1832.

The Society desires to possess every work written by a resident of New Mexico, and has grouped such books in Class G, in this Catalogue. Information as to other works of this character will be gratefully received.
