Suddenly, the basset was turning cartwheels in the air as the energy of his exertion tumbled him forward. As he spun, Fred howled. His plaintive cries brought greater catastrophe. The burst of air that exploded from his mouth with each howl propelled him backwards. Now the old basset spun in circles, even as he turned cartwheels. "Help him, Johnny, "Caitlyn cried. "Don't panic, I'll just pull him down," Johnny replied calmly, as if he flew his dog on a daily basis. In this suspense-filled romp, an unlikely pair of young people spend, the most exciting summer vacation imaginable. The parents of Caitlyn 'Cat' Thyme and Johnny 'Dog Breath' Daugbreth had arranged to spend a couple of weeks together at the beach. Unexpected events occur and our two young heroes come face-to-face with pirates, jewel thieves, aliens, a movie star and enough mystery and adventure for a lifetime.
