In the year 1, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was born to a carpenter, Joseph. He changes water into wine, heals the sick, raises the dead and offers eternal life to those who believe. His public life lasts about three years. Still a young man, after he raises Lazarus from the dead, his following becomes so large the leaders of his religion decide he must die rather than upset the current order. He is betrayed by one of his twelve loyal followers who wanted him to be a political ruler in a tiny country rather than the savior of the whole world. He is captured in the middle of the night, beaten, mocked, tortured, nailed to a cross and dies. He returns in three days with final instructions to his followers to continue his message of good news. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are four of his followers. Each reported a story of his life. This is a compilation of the four stories utilizing the most elaborate description from each report.
