Publisher's Synopsis
In the story, Otis Flagg, a retired and reclusive man, witnesses a friend collapse and decides to use his mysterious blue bottle with a time portal to try and save his friend's life. He travels through the portal from 2024 to the year 1957 in a parallel world. In this world, a much younger Otis works in a traveling carnival where he becomes involved with the people living and working in the carnival, including ride operators, sideshow performers, fortune tellers, and carnival barkers. He is also relieved to find his friend. In addition to the challenges he faces, Otis must also deal with a large bull elephant while attempting to prevent the life-threatening event he witnessed in 2024. Otis finds himself living in parallel worlds evolving simultaneously without boundaries in time. The question remains: will he be able to unite the two worlds and prevent the life-threatening event from occurring? Time will tell....
