Publisher's Synopsis

Finally, a book has been published to commemorate Canadians who died during the Vietnam War. For far too long the names of these brave warriors have sat silent. Upwards of 40,000 Canadians were a part of the U.S. military during the Vietnam War. An estimated 8000 of those actually served in Vietnam itself. Out of those men, 130+ gave their lives in a war they did not have to fight in. The true number of Canadians who served in the U.S. Military or died during the war may never be known. Canadians were not by law allowed to join the U.S. Military. There was however a way this could be circumnavigated. Giving a U.S. address to any recruiting officer would grant you access to joining. Working with the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Memorial Association has given me access to information not readily available to the public. In some cases, names that are on the Canadian Vietnam Wall were accidentally put there when in fact there was no Canadian connection. No expense has been spared in the research of all these brave men by various committed individuals and myself to give the reader as much information on each man as possible. Feel free to contact me directly if you have details about the men shown or men that should be added.
