This Cambridge Global English series is for schools covering the final three stages of the Cambridge Secondary 1 English as a Second Language curriculum framework in two years rather than three. This is the only series of its kind developed with TED schools. The coursebook presents realistic listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks, as well as end-of-unit projects - similar to those students might encounter studying other subjects in English. After every other unit, there is a literature spread featuring a range of prose, poetry, plays and songs. Answers to questions in the coursebook are on the teacher's resource. Cambridge International Examinations has reviewed and assessed the content in Coursebook Stages 7-8 and confirmed that it covers the Cambridge Secondary 1 English as a Second Language curriculum framework.
